NOV 2023 — PRESENT
LiveA social media app for a calmer sharing and scrolling experience, rebuilt from a class project onto Postgres. Key features: automatically opens to wholesome content instead of whatever is loudest, teaches what counts as a primary source and requires #news yaps to cite at least one, and rewards yaps that bring people together across communities.

Case studyA mock electronic health record system with nine distinct user roles. On an eight-person student team, I worked on the COVID-19 vaccination features: vaccine records, the vaccinator role, appointment requests, and generated vaccination certificates.
My passion for software engineering began early, when I discovered how fun customization was in my first PC games. I specifically remember playing Barbie Horse Adventures: Mystery Ride off a CD-ROM. Exploring the polygon glitches, customizing the 3D models, and roaming the open world made me curious about how I could shape those worlds myself. That sense of possibility grew into a love for gaming and, eventually, the curiosity that drives me to understand and build what happens behind the scenes.
